Name “borrowed” from one of the magnificent works of the master Gaudí, the Batlló brings in its design a sequence of volumes and solutions that transport us to the Art Nouveau aesthetic, allied to the proposal of using the piece as a dressing table or desk, both examples of equipment essential in the houses of the beginning of the 20th century. The creation process follows the sequence of my sculptural creations, starting with exploratory sketches followed by modeling the piece in full scale for formal study. From the mold, the wood is cut, glued and pressed, followed by roughing and finishing.
